Every 4weeks, my physician sends my script on thursday night, friday is my fill day. All of this is true sure, but the really reason all of this is happening to walgreens in particular is declining profit margins/reimbursements on prescription drugs and pressure/money being sucked out of the pharmacies by the pbms, which is why walgreens is year over year losing market share and generally seeing declining profits.
