The berkley naked run is a unique and controversial tradition that has become deeply ingrained in the campus culture While it has its critics, the event continues to attract participants who embrace its message of free expression and body positivity. So there is a naked run at cal, it happens on thursday of dead week which is today Andy (my buddy) and i were trying to look for a seat at main stacks ( an underground library, also where the run happens) to study. Another among those words is “streaking.” uc berkeley students have continued the tradition of streaking through the semesterly naked run. While the naked run has become a beloved tradition for many students, it has also generated controversy and debate over the years
The origins of the naked run can be traced back to 1974, when a group of students organized a “cal night out” to celebrate the end of the academic year. Uc berkeley’s libraries are generally quiet places of refuge for studying during dead week On thursday night, however, this silence was broken as students gathered for the semesterly naked.
