To get to the beach, climb the steep berm next to the railroad tracks adjacent to the bonny doon parking lot, cross the tracks, descend the berm and take one of several trails to the sand. Bonny doon has been a nude beach for over 50 years Approximately 10 miles north of santa cruz and about a 1/2 mile walk from highway 1 Take highway #1 north from santa cruz At 12 miles, you will find roadside parking You will need to hike about 1/4 mile to the beach.
Possible i think but not wise Nudists along the highway could distract motorists, and there sometimes is heavy, fast traffic that requires driver concentration along there Just get enough nudism at the beach and maybe wear a towel by route 1. Bonny doon up north is a nude beach and super beautiful but beware of lurkers Some dude followed my boyfriend and i back to our car last time i was there Bonny doon beach is one of a dwindling number of public nude beaches
