At catie we make an enormous effort by investing our own resources to maintain and make the conserved germplasm available to farmers, students, research centers and the community in general. It is led by the secretariat of agriculture and livestock (sag) and the secretariat of natural resources and environment (serna), with implementation by catie and financial support from the mitigation action facility. As a standard practice, they have proven essential in building closer relationships, learning from the entrepreneurs, and experiencing their realities firsthand.
