After pulling back the carpet on the driver's side next to the pedal box, i noticed that there was water leaking from underneath the dash It's leaking out of a grill of what appears to be connected to the hvac. A plugged ac condensate drain line can cause water on the passenger floorboard, a leaking heater core, a leaking windshield seal, a problem with sunroof drains, or water ingestion from the fresh air intake on your car’s hvac system. When a car leaking water on passenger side, it typically stems from various factors such as blocked drainage systems, deteriorated seals, or other related issues. One possible reason for water leaking under your dashboard when it rains is due to issues with the engine cowling area This area contains an air intake network designed to ensure only air enters your cabin.
It fills when it rains to the point that it sloshes and bogs down the blower fan It also pours out onto the passenger side She has had it back to the dealer 4 times without resolution to the problem Has anyone had this successfully resolved? For those wanting some visualization on what i did to solve the passenger side leak see the pictures below You can see the dirt residual below the grommet on that surface where water collects.
