The rub melted and glazed the roast as i tossed it in the oven at 400f for a good hour to sear and carmelize the roast, then i lowered it to 325 for an hour, then left it at 275 for the last two hours I just turned off the oven and left the roast to finish cooking in the remaining heat after i turned it off.
