It is an online school with regional accreditation with a flexible course schedule and low tuition costs I wanted to check the box of having an undergraduate degree so that i could apply to graduate school. Umgc does need to update their material, they do need to set a higher standard from professors. I have had some amazing professors who provide feedback and materials throughout the course, but it seems umgc prefers professors don't add anything to the course My last professors provided canned grading feedback and just rubberstamped my. Umgc is getting a reputation for accepting sophia which is not an accredited institution Thus those credits devalue your diploma I got rejected from grad school because my diploma had too much sophia
And be sure to realize it may cost you more later when you have to retake the courses.
