So what do you all think

While there’s no right or wrong answer, it’s important to be mindful of how using it can impact bi folks So, if you’re thinking about using it, maybe give it a second thought. The reclamation of slurs can change the ownership of their power Yet, this doesn’t forgo its original meaning Just because one gay person feels empowered to take back a word that was once used to opress, does not mean others are ready to embrace the same. Please see the guidance for writing about lgbtq+ people in uk cultural heritage for general guidance

This section contains many abhorrent and harmful terms, as well as reclaimed slurs and community slang These terms are listed to help archivists and cultural heritage professionals Reclaiming slurs can feel transcendent Without our slurs, the queer community lose our history. Are queer women allowed to see its say it Should bi people be allowed to say the f slur

I personally am bi and i don't say it because i (again personally) feel uncomfortable using it despite it being used against me although i have some bi friends that do say it.

Ok so im going to start this off with a bit of a disclaimer by saying im here… Gradually, queer people, especially queer people of color, began to reclaim the term, having it used as both a specific identity and an umbrella term However, it is also important to top remember that this term can and is still used often as a slur, in the same way, that “gay” itself is still used as an insult. The act of reclaiming slurs has long been a point of contention in the lgbtq community Click through to find out. The word 'faggot', 'fag' is commonly used as an insult towards gay people and in general people from lgbtq+ community

It shouldn't be used by. The f slur is the word they use towards gay people and trans people The s slur is directed towards disabled people. So, i'm bisexual, with a preference for women, and i wanted to know if i could still say this slur, and reclaim it because technically i am attracted to men, but more so to women. I’m not encouraging people to use the f slur, i’m simply defending the fact that it’s no longer a slur that’s used against gay men and amab This is not a fact

Should i call em out?

I’d say the same thing about bi men and the f slur Like, yeah i think you have the right to say it, but i don’t recommend throwing it around loosely Especially not around people who don’t know/realize that you are queer. The f and d slur predominantly target mlm and wlw crowds, these include bi folk by definition But, my personal reasoning is if you are a target of a slur, you know the power it holds and it's yours to reclaim If you've never been the target of slur in that way, or even ever been at risk of being the target, be wary.
